Honestly, though, I really just wanted to see Sun and Mork, so maybe I'm just being overcritical of Pete and Kao. In the end, though, I do recommend both the drama and the movie, BUT I also recommend not watching them back to back. This show depicts all the familiar high school drama tropes while showcasing the lives of Hispanic and African-American neighbourhoods in Los Angeles. It sometimes felt like they were more roommates than lovers, especially towards the beginning of the drama. This is the shorter version of the Untamed. Furthermore, there wasn't some overdramatic, unnecessary plot twist where one of the main characters is seriously injured or traumatized, which is common in Japanese dramas of this nature. I'm recommending it because it completes the TharnType storyline and because the ending was happy. It wasn't awful, but there were parts that I watched where I was just so unhappy with what was happening. This was cute. The BL in this drama and it's second season is very light, but it's still a really cute relationship. I think this had a happy ending? To start, Lee Joon Gi. I started watching this drama on a whim before going to sleep one night, and it was a mistake. I felt they added in unnecessary storylines just to make the story more dramatic. I just wish that the gay couple was a little more natural with each other. It's actually a family drama, but there is a gay couple in it that grows more central to the story as the series goes on (but don't get too excited by this- there are over 60 episodes, so it takes a while). Even better, the over-acting was kept to a minimum. 2. I'm not going to lie, this wasn't one of my favorites. There were cute together, and I liked seeing where the story progressed after the ending in the first “season.”  That being said, it was extremely difficult to not compare everything where it aligned with the first season. This takes place after the quarantine restrictions are lifted, so I really enjoyed getting to see the characters actually interact with one another. I actually read the manga version of this long before they made it into a movie, so I was pretty happy that I got to see a live action version. The show was one of the biggest hits in 2020 in the Thai boy love drama genre. My biggest issue with this drama is that there are some obvious plot holes that I'm not going to describe (you'll have to watch to see what I mean). Heartstrings: ‘Heartstrings’ is the drama based on music school where new talents emerge from the scratch and make a debut and become popular. The other thing that I wasn't a fan of concerns some of the supporting characters. There was thankfully some character development, and *spoiler* they felt much more like a couple at the end. In this scene, the lack of chemistry and the sheer awkwardness that the actors clearly feel about acting in BL is obvious.
